Head Teacher’s Note

Welcome to our school community.

As Headteacher, it is my privilege to welcome you to our happy and caring one-form entry Catholic primary school in the heart of Burntwood. Our school is a place where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish academically, spiritually and personally.

Rooted in our Catholic faith, we strive to create a nurturing environment where children grow in their relationship with God while developing the confidence, knowledge and skills they need to succeed in an ever-changing world. Gospel values are at the heart of everything we do and guide us in treating one another with kindness, respect, compassion and dignity.

As a one-form entry school, we are proud of the strong relationships that exist between staff, pupils, parents, governors and the wider parish community. We know every child as an individual and are committed to ensuring that each pupil feels safe, happy and inspired to achieve their full potential.

Our ambitious, engaging curriculum provides rich learning experiences that challenge and engage children, helping them to develop a love of learning and a curiosity about the world around them. Alongside high academic expectations, we place great importance on developing children’s character, wellbeing and sense of service to others.

We believe that education is a partnership between home and school and value the support and involvement of our families. Together, we work to create a community where children are encouraged to dream big, work hard and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
